Stage 1 completed

Got my bike back after having all of the stage 1 done. I
went with V&H Straight shots, the SE a/c kit, and the Yost
power tube master kit.
What a difference it made. It ran OK before being that it
is the Sport model and came stock with the W cams. But
before when I accelerated, it kind of felt like I was pulling
a small anchor. It didn't really want to rev, you could feel
it choking. It always had the "wanting to get unleashed"
feel to it.
Now, it revs quickly and pulls strong. Hills that I took
before at 35mph really felt the benefit of dropping down
to 2nd gear to not lug the motor. Now, those same hills
it pulls cleanly up with no bogging what so ever.
I guess I've kind of went from stock to almost Stage II since
I already have the W cams which I would have used anyway.
The V&H's really good. Very nice deep lope at idle and
nice bark under throttle. Cruising at 65 it's not loud at all,
doesn't seem much louder then stock, at least to me.
I'm pretty happy with the change, even at close to 1000 bucks
for everything, it was a good move. Here's a couple of pics
of how it now looks with the V&H installed.
Thanks for reading.
Regards Sonny

Nice! I am looking into the straight shots as a possibility for my scoot (at least when I get the new one to replace the one that burned). Good to hear positive feedback. Thanks!

Thank you sir!

It't going in Friday for forward controls. I'd do it myself
if I wasn't so lazy
