The only ryme or reason I could see a shock blowing out....continiously, would be a crooked mount, forcing the shock to compress on an angle, not linear, prematurely taking out the seals.
Loosen the shock, and take it off. Now....slide it back on, with a level on the outside, or lateral edge.
If the shock is kept level, and bottoms out on any one mount first, before the other, then it's being forced to mount on the remaining mount, twisting shock, changing it's geometery during function.
All of this is, of course, total BS, if you weigh 450 lbs or more....
