Fork oil amt. for 07' WG
Dealership says to add 875 CC's, that's 29.5 oz, that like twice as much as I have read, could that be because of the 49mm fork?, or is it way off, can someone help? I am using Screaming Eagle Performance fork oil.

10.2 ozs wet, and 11.2 dry.
Wet means you drained it and you're just refilling it.
Dry means you disassembled them, and you're starting over.

29.5 oz. per fork is correct per the svc. manual .

Schmity's right. I looked it up for a 41mm front, not 49mm. I should know better then to answer questions before coffee...........

How come theres such a big difference between a '05 Softail, and an '07 WG?
My service manual only calls for 12oz.

Disregard. Mine is 41mm.
07 WG is 49mm.

Thanks guys, I guess the dealership was right, problem is they said two bottles that are 24 oz would do the trick, I guess they have never found "conversion.com."
Kainam, You have 41mm forks, not 49mm.
