Talking 09 electraglide classic

I have an 09 electra glide classic which is stock. I wanted to lower the rear end so my feet would reach the ground better. The dealer parts man put a stock electra glide seat on a new '10 touring bike which has the shorter shocks on it and let me sit on this to see if it helped. I was told that the 2010 touring bikes comes from the factory with the lower shocks as standard. I bought a set of lowering shocks and installed them today and man what a difference. The bike handles better, is easier for me to control, i feel better riding it in traffic since I can plant my feet flat on the ground with a little knee bend, this is great.

I have the lower shock on mine and they also make the bike look better but as far as comfort goes they suck.
