Triple Trees,..

Hi there guys,,

I have a BIG issue with changing the trees from my 2005. night train.
I do love how they look but im also hearing some cons about having
more angle in the front end.
Many opinnions in my head but still noone who can telll me something wich i can use to make my choice..tha question is is it dangerous to use 5degree trees? or maybe i should use 3 degree ones?...I use my bike in the city and usually do short rides 100 miles (max)..

I would really really apreciate your help.

thank you.

Raked tripple trees

I have a 2005 dyna, that I put 7 deg. trees on. I've had situations where I go into a high speed wobble , anywhere from 65 to 90 mph. It's a butt puckering experience. I've had people tell me it's a rake and trail issue. Others have told me that they have more rake than that and have no issues at all. I've also been told to check the steering head bearing preload as well as the wheel bearing preload. At any rate, unless you're having a professional install the parts, go with a lesser rake in the trees ,or use offset bearing cups to give you extra rake.
