Any SG owner's change front spring's?

I'm looking at doing some Progressive Springs in the front of my SG, I was talking to my Indy about chrome lower's, and he recommended doing the springs while he's in there....Said it gets rid of the brake dive, and handles/rides much better.

Anyone have any input or experience, with any type of spring swap?

I did a search, but not much came up that was specific.

Thanks.

Not on a HD, so someone with direct experience on a SG or touring bike hopefully will chime in. On my last bike (non-HD cruiser) I changed the shocks to 412's and replaced the fork springs with progressives. The forks were really stiff to the point of being a little harsh on the front. They sure didn't dive as much but on small bumps they were a little brutal. I'm not sure I liked them on that application. The shocks were good though and much better than stock on that ride. Progressive has a good rep for sure. Not much help I know but that's all I've got. Anyone with direct experience?

I put Progressives on my FLHR. My only regret is that I didn`t do it sooner.

I only have a few miles on these so far, as it's winter here in NY, but I did ride it home from the shop, and I did notice one thing so far, the "brake dive" is ALOT better, as I had to grab a handful of front brake on the way home, and it didn't nose dive like it had before.

I'll report back when I get some real miles on them.
