Eastern Performance had the best price on them when I did the switch. You won't be disappointed.

ok had a small leak on the right shock at the fitting and the shrader valve was a little loose, that explains alot! set at 35psi hopefully no leak down now, time will tell. it rode much better than before with both of us on the bike.

I also found them at Direct Cycle Parts, they were about $30 cheaper and free shipping! hey but time will tell how momma likes the ride now, might wind up buying them and putting them on and not say anything and see how she likes the ride then.

For the two of you you should be closer to 45psi in the harley shocks, but they do suck!
Ive tried a buddies bike with the progressive 940's and they ride OK but not great. Another has the harley premium shocks (lowered version) and they ride pretty good. I tried the OHLINS 3-3 and they ride great, but raise the bike an inch. I liked my street glide better when it was lower but the ride is so good its hard to try another lower shock.

Hopefully finding your leak fixed your problem, but down the road you should look at investing in a quality shock. IMHO

hdrolling,
I ordered the progressive 944's the hd shocks. they are the upgraded version of the 940's different springs. anything has to be better! we did put up to 35psi in them but they still suck!

Just got my progressive 944-4002ut and installed.I,m 180# and ride solo more than 2up so went with the light spring. The bike sits 1/16 higher than the stock height with no preload, and will probably settle in a little.Feels much more plush than stock did at any air PSI but i also have a bad back.I paid $540 shipped ,probably too much but the stockers are now a paper weight.
