Just put 444s on about two weeks ago; have the setting set in the middle with HD springs.
It is hard to tell just how much of an effect that have on my bike's improved handling, because I did them simultaneously with Progressive monotube cartridges in the forks and new Michelin CEII tires, but overall my bike is a compleley different beast from what it was with the stock set-up.
My wife has nerve damage in her arm and is very sensittive to rough riding, and she liked riding on this new set-up better than the old (when I would vary the air pressure in the stock shocks between 30 and 50 lbs. it didn't seem to matter as the ride was never smooth enough for her.)
