Front tire repalacement

I am riding an FXR2 and the front tire needs replacing. the tire has dip places in it and i assume it is from not being balanced. It has 7 k miles on it. The question is should i replace the tube and the wheel liner also. This is a spoke rim. Thank you in advance for your help.

was this the stock HD tire? good for about 7K...Put on a Metzler ME880....You'll get 15-20K out of them..just make sure you keep it inflated to what it says on the tire...If you have a Metzler on the front you should also change the rear tire as they handle so much better than the stock stuff, and it is recommended that they be used in pairs...

If the tire is a Dunlop, they're known for cupping. Normal wear, even on their racing tires.

Personally, I replace the tube and rimstrip with every tire change. It's an additional few extra bucks, (less than $20) and prevents having an issue later.

I've heard good things about Metzler, and have personally used Avons (Venom series) and like the way they wear, last and handle, even in the wet.
