Difference in the frame

I have just bought a used 2004 Heritage and my GF has a 2005 Heritage. Mine is supposed to be stock but sits significantly lower than her's does. And she has a lowering kit on her bike.

I took it by a reputable shop and they said that it all was stock under there. So my question is did HD make a major change in the frames between 2004 and 2005 in the Heritage line or is there a way that maybe these other guys don't know about to raise the bike.

Thanks

messure the shocks from eye to eye on both and see what you come up with that would be a big sign telling it is lowered, and why would you wanna raise the bike ?

Thanks Jacket! I will do that. The guys at the shop eyeballed it and said they looked fine.
The reason I want to raise the bike is that I am 6'1" and the bikes sits a little low for me. Plus I sometimes drag my foot rest during a turn. And I am not leaning into the turn that much. My GFs bike is an 05 and is probably 4 or so inches higher than mine and she has a lowering kit on it!

dang prob is lowered then but you will have to do more than change shocks out back if front is lower, you will have to take it to a shop to change out the springs in the front unless you are really mech inclined, I like mine low but I am a lot shorter than you about 5' 7'', and mine drags on some corners on the 88 and my sporty drags a lot but its lowered and I ride it like a madman sometimes, not gonna hurt to drag a little builds character lol

Thanks Jacket!
Next time I have it serviced, I will discuss that with them and see what they can do!

Character? Oh I brought plenty of that! LOL

Take care,

D
