500 cc Harley

The new 500 cc Harleys don't look all that bad.
Is this the upcoming Harley Davidson 500cc cruiser? - Motoroids.com

How do you "cruise" with only 500cc?

Da, in some countries that is the max size allowed without a "Luxury" type tax.

A hi-tech, 500cc V-twin in a lightweight frame. Just the thing the doctored ordered!

Hope H-D USA brings it here to the states. I'd buy one today!

I believe the Buel Blast was only 500cc - great beginner bike and bike for getting around the city while still having enough oomph for the highway

They are filling the void of the Blast with a 500cc bike. It will somewhat mimic the Sporty.

I think it's a good idea. But will it be sold in America?

Zero interest in a 500 cruzer. Lots of interest in a 500 dual sport.
On the flip side, is this the new beginning of the end of Harley? Made in India or Antarctica, if it ain't made in America, who would want one? One of the last sebastian’s of Americana now sold out to and made in India? No thanks, to rice burners and no thanks to coos-coos burners.

If Milwaukie closed because Harley could make cheaper bikes in India and increase their profit, would you buy a Harley not made in America? I would not under any circumstance. I don’t care about GM and whoever else is making cars in China or where ever, but when HD’s are made in India. I will buy used, even if where they go, they don’t need roads.
What's next a customer care line when you call Harley and some Indian in Bombay answers the phone?

If you don't get in more riding this year, you'll be a year older next year.

The rumor is that, it is coming to the USA, part 2 is that it will be assembled here for the US and other select markets. Don't have any insight on where the engine will be assembled.

Sounds like a good idea I'd Harley don't F it up.
