Tall RKC windshield

Has anyone tried the Tall (22" above headlight cutout) windshield on a Road King? I'm looking to get just a bit more height to cut some helmet buffeting and wind noise. I see Harley has one listed as a replacement for standard size (20" above headlight cutout).

What I'd like to know is have you noticed any undesirable handling in wind or just going down the road? Also will be using my chrome wind deflectors below shield sometimes.

Hi,
I have a high shield, a low shield and have gone through some pains to stop the buffetting. Try the lowers first. The bike will run a touch warmer with them on however.

From what I've heard and read, you're supposed to see over the shield about 2" visibility, my friend gave me his shield from his police RK, it was the 22" and set way taller than the stock shield and I found myself looking through it, rather than over it. Personally I didn't like. If you lived closer I would give you my friends shield to test drive. Good Luck Tom
