Your input would be appreciated

2000 FLHUCI Stage II (43 K) This engine has always had Mobil 1 in it, never been mistreated- but sounds noisey- mostly rockers I think. When it has sat (cold start) it raps a couple times til oil gets on something; is this common to others? I thought it should last at lot longer before these symptoms existed. Any problems w/ this year of 88's? Thanks for your input....

I can't help you with that year, but on my 98RK, if it sat for a while, mine would tick once in a while on a cold start until the oil got to the top of the heads, but I used regular HD oil and had 63K on that bike and it was only a few times. Wish I could be of more help Tom
