Wheel upgrade !!

Hello and good morning I have a 05 Roadking and I was thinking about changing my wheels and tires from 16" front and rear to 21" front and a 18" rear .If anyone has made these changes and would let me know how they like it I would appreciate it thanks.

Looks great. I was thinking the same for my SG and have heard different comments from people who have made the change. Some say it makes the bike handle different and others say it is hardly noticable. I would suggest trying to ride one first and see what you think.

Thanks !!

Thanks for the reply I have been reading pros and cons also going from 16" to 21" front to a 18" rear wheel. I have read also that 18"
front and rear work great also so I guess its just what fits ones needs when it comes to ride and looks . I really looking at 18X3.5 front and 18X4 or 18x4.25 on the rear with 140 Metzlers front and rear rc components nitro or venom chrome . They will be at biketoberfest daytona .

Back in the day when i built wheels we did a ton of conversions from 21" to 19", gave you pretty much the same rolling radius but a larger foot print on the tarmac hence better traction & handling

18 front and rear looks killer. Low profile tires are available that aren;t in 16 and 21, and make for a really good handling bike as well. A friend of mine has 2 former police bikes that are customes with air ride and 18's front and rear. Killa.....
