Price: Dealership or "Stealership" ?
Hey Y'all.....
Im deployed to Iraq right now and will be returning home in December. Im about to trade my 02 Sporty 883 in for a 2010 Road King. Now the question I'm about to ask, I understand, is dependent on the state you buy......but I have seen lots of fellow Texans in this forum so i thought I'd give it a shot. Dealer quoted me this "out the door price" : 2010 RoadKing Standard, Vivid Black, ABS, Cruise, security, wheel option, Vance and Hines 2 in 2, Stage 1 and remap will cost me approx $22,877.00. Sound like a dealership price or a "stealership" price? Thanks for any and all input. Ride Safe!

Honestly, doesn't sound bad if that's OTD! abs is $700, cruise is $400, tire package is $500...stage 1 is close to 1k. So that price seems decent...

Thanks JBONE......Its hard to check the prices when most the dealer sites use the REQUEST QUOTE as the price online,a nd being in Iraq, online shopping and research is all i got. I seen your thread on the Apes you got. Im contemplating going that route as well. Was the install difficult for ya?

$16,999 is Msrp + security $370,wheel option $460 cruise $295 and ABS $845= $19519 OTD to start then subtract, oh say.. $1000 just cause and maybe another ah... $1000 for you being in Iraq. MSRP OTD taxes and all is what you should be shooting for, it's fair to all. But you as all Vets serving deserve more. JMHO
Ps Fuel Moto.com for your stage 1

Thanks all for the input. I'm feeling like i'm getting a pretty fair shake here. They're giving me $3,000 for the 02 Sporty 883.
Willie G., They are actually offereing a descent discount, i think they took about $1,500 off the MSRP. Just got the approval for the credit through my Credit Union, so should be closing the deal in a week or so.
