Lowering ultra classic

Any one use the lowering kit by Road 6 Customs?
I'd really like to drop my bike about 2".

Why not purchase a reach seat? Lowers you 1.5 inches down and 1.5 inches frward. I bought one as I am 5'7 Ultra owner and it snugged me up pretty good.

Also Harley sells this pneumatic killer air system that raises and lowers your bike with the push of a button. Installed its just 2 buttons on the handle bars. Its about 12-1300 dollars installed but if you're gonna keep the bike awhile its worth it. Push the button to lower the bike to get on it and get rolling then raise it up as needed or not? It goes up and down just that quick. If I ever purchase a new Ultra I will be putting that pneumatic system on.

got a 09 ultra and did the hd lowered shocks and hd lowering kit for front end and also put a reach seat on and it does the trick.while your lowering the front end it also a good time to get the chrome kit for the front and change it while your in there.

I noticed a big difference between my '07 classic and the '09 ultra, so, I had the dealer install the lower rear shocks. It helped somewhat.

2"drop in suspension is a huge amount of travel for a dresser, you will greatly limit the amount of cargo you can haul, shock travel, passenger comfort etc. look into a seat first

My buddy lowered his 2008 with the HD short shocks as well as the front end kit. It took it down about 1 1/2". I got to ride the bike before and after. The difference in ride is not that noticable. It handles just as well, even better at slow speed because it lowers the center of gravity. The clearance is somewhat less, and would only play a factor if cornered real hard. I have not ridden it with 2 people. That is my concern 2 people loaded with their stuff for a trip. He does not seem that concerned.
