how to take off street glide mirrors.

to be honest feeling lazy and in the mod to look through the service manuel yet. are removing the mirrors complicated ? does the fairing need to be removed or is there an easy way to do it ?

Take the fairing off . 7 #27 torx screws , fold up a towel and lay it on your front fender then remove the screws with the center windshield screw last while holding the fairing under the headlamp . Now reach inside the fairing and squeeze the light socket to get it off and remove the windshield . Once the fairing is off it will be obvious how to remove the mirrors .
