FLHTC, FLHX or FLHXXX

I've narrowed my replacement choice to 1 of 3, so I'm tossing this out for opinions.
I like the HTC for it's completeness, comfy backrest for my spouse and plenty storage room (I'd change the Tour Pack mount to a quick-release).
I like the HX for the no-nonsense good looks. 2-1 pipes are a plus, I had those on order for my FLHR. I'm pretty sure the backrest and rack I have will fit this bike.
The trike is a hoot! I test drove one and love it. Not sure if I will soon miss the leaning and just plain fun of the twisties if I go to a 3-wheeler.
Most of my riding is short runs, <200 miles at a time. Lots of around town stuff. I hope to take on long ride at least annually, 3000+ miles. Since November last year, I racked up 13,500 miles on my FLHR. It's gone but not forgotten.

that is my struggle to for a new bike

I'm currently struggling with the same decision, right now I am trying to see if my local dealer can get me a "Shriners Jester" edition ultra because its "Concord Purple", if not, I am either going to go for the Streetglide in White Ice Pearl/Black Ice Pearl or get black and the body work painted in the HD "California Kid" flame paint job.

Its time to replace my Heritage, just turned 104K on Tuesday.

I never thought i would own a bagger, and my friend wanted to sell his 1998 FLHTC.. I bought it, and have put on 3,000 miles in September alone.. I still ride my FXDL, but now it is getting cold, the FLHTC will be nice...

I thought I might remove the tour pak, making it more like a street glide, but you know, I like the storage...

tibadoe,,, Is that a Boxer Pup??? Our last one passed a year ago, and have been itching to get another... It would be our 6th.. each have lasted about 10 years of age... last one passed because of lymphoma.. Great Dogs..

I just purchased a Street Glide this past weekend. It was a choice between the Road King, Electra Glide and the Street Glide. My wife really liked the back seating of the Electra and the looks of the Road King, but I really love the lines of the SG. So we compromised (and I'm paying for it so I really had final say :-)) and got the SG. I'm going to fix the back with a new seat and back rest for her. but then I can put the original seat on for solo rides to keep the lines sleek.

Either one you choose, it's going to be a great choice. You won't lose on any of them.
