You know for the longest time I had an old rusted out bare tractor seat sitting in the garage for a long time with just that thought. Went to get it last year and someone swiped it along with this stainless steel grated piece I was gonna make a home made 55 gallon BBQ deal with. MF'ing thieves kill me. Putting locks on things don't mean shiet anymore.

I would reccomend poking around old farms and fsarm houses, that how I got that one. I was thinking I could take it to a seat upholstery and suchafter welding necessary tabs. Maybe it was a lark and wouldn't have worked out. I'll never know. Will be interested to see that project come to fruition 55panrider.

Well, I have decided on this seat for the facelift Harley Davidson Sundowner Solo Bucket Seat for Road King Classic Now, I am researching the P-pad that is made for this seat. I want a p-pad that looks like a p-pad and not take away from the solo seat look. I may end up mix matching to get the look I want. The part # for the p-pad that goes with it is 51929-01. I still haven't been able to find a pic of it online but I'm sure I will find it.If anyone has seen it and could post a link I would appreciate it.

Thanks, Rob

Now this pisses me off! look at the P-pad that comes with this seat. Sundowner™ Passenger Pillion for Road King® Models, 51929-01, This sculpted pillion provid How the hell are you going to get the 50's era look they are talking about with that as the p-pad. It totally takes away from the solo seat look. Probably comfortable for the passenger though. Fortunately p-pads are a pretty common item. I'm not going to completely rule that one out but I was thinking of a more rectangular old School looking pillion. The solo seat is definatley the seat I'm going with.
