2009-2010 Ultra seats

When I got my 2010 UL it came with the standard issue seat, I purchased the "LOW" on special for about 150.00, neither one was a good fit for my butt at around 110 miles I wanted off the bike for a butt break. I found a place on the web that does custom covers for boats and jeeps and things who also did motorcycle seats. The guy used to work on jet fighter seats in the military. Anyway he went out and purchased a "LOW" seat put 1 1/2 inch of memory foam in there in place of the original foam that was there and cut it to look identical as the LOW. They then sent it to me to try out, well I took it on a trip from Oklahoma to Virginia Beach and back (nice long test ride huh? ) Well what a difference it made, I now can go 2-300 miles with little to no discomfort, even the 6 - 900 days are not disabling if ya know what I mean.

I bought an Airhawk a few years ago and used it on my 08 SG, boy did that help a lot, that stock seat was really a pain! I tried the Airhawk on the Ultra Limited before the mod to my seat, it did ok, but there was still the discomfort on 1- 200 mile runs, sold it to one of my friends and he loves it.

I'd recommend a custom padded seat, WoW is all I can say... oh yeah and my butt is very grateful

Is it comfortable on a 1 hr ride?

I checked my 2010 Ultra and it's low one. I want the normal since I'm 6'4. [I]s the back support on the seat going to be the same. I like how it feels but wouldn't mind being 2 inched higher.

I have a tall seat and would love to to trade someone for the LOW seat. It is off a 2009 and was removed from the bike with less than 300 miles on it. Never seen rain, or much sun for that matter. With a 28" inseam I need all the help I can get.
