I really like my V&H Power Duals, but your getting better than me the way you are. My seat of the pants pull is great. I am still thinking of cams. I don't see much on this site about the S&S Cams, but they sure worked great on my custom.

I'm hungry. Hook us up.
I'm hungry too for those figures from a 103, especially the torque. I put on a set of the Supertrapp 4" Stout slip-ons, SE Ventilator air cleaner, and the tech did the factory Stage 1 download. The best dyno run was 77.45 HP and 93.97 lbs/ft. of torque. Air temp was 77.5 deg F. and humidity was 9% during the dyno runs.

Robbo1976's figures of just under 84 hp and 104 lbs/ft of torque are impressive for a stage 1 103" motor.

Stage 2 gets me 92 hp from my 103. Cams were needed just to get to those numbers.

That may be exactly what I need.

Wow, that is real great. I wouldn't change a thing.

Don't want to steal the thread, but there are alot of engine upgrade threads. This 113 sounds like a beast. We gotta see some video.

My dad always told more power is always good.

The real number I need is enough power to get out of a really tight situation. With the pure stage 1, I am close, but there are times when I need to get it with me and my wife and it will push past 5k rpm. Houston traffic is a beast and will eat you if your not careful. Power, ABS brakes, training, experience, quick thinking and a very nimble bike are required for survival.

More than the necessaries to survive are for me cause I like it.

Couldn't agree more, murf AND red. Power saves lives and is a metric butt-ton of fun too.

I have been told by quite a few old timers and motor builders that a lot of people can put false info like different air temp , humidity, etc.etc into there computer on the dyno to bump up the dyno numbers. I was doubtful but one fellow showed me three dyno sheets for the same bike. He had a cutomer run there bike on his dyno then the guy went to a rally 25 miles away and ran it on some traveling dyno there and it showed 13 hp more. the guy called him up pissed off so he said to bring it back and he wanted to rerun it. They ran it it it was within a horse of the original dyno sheet. The bike owner himself said that they only strapped the bike down and did no mods at the rally . you have to compare your before and after dyno runs useing the same dyno to see your gain. All that being said dyno runs realy dont mean sh7t . Drag strips and smiles are what it is about. My 2000 ultra with 95", cams, PC,big sucker, V@H mufflers only reads 78hp but I run with guys (and beat) who are talking bigger numbers on different dynos.
