I stopped in at the dealer to look around and checked out the lowers on a ultra. Not sure I will be crazy about the snaps but will wait and see. I've also seen elsewhere, some have put a self stick liner fabric on the inside of the lower itself besides the glove box. I think it gives it a finished look and may even help with engine top end noise echoing off the plastic.
As for the glove box liner... I have to look into this more. The pre molded ones may take up considerable space ?? I Don't know yet if that is a real issue. Should I try to make my own (self stick) I wonder how many little pieces I will need to make fit the shape.
Which ever I choose to do I'll be sure to post the finished product.

When I bought mine used on ebay the plan was to only use them in the winter or on longer trips. They have only come off a few times in the last couple years, mostly to clean the bugs after a longer ride and then they go back on!
