07 Street Glide Cruise Control???
Just picked up a 2007 Street Glide and I'd like to add Cruise Control. According to my 2012 Harley P&A catalog, the 07 is skipped. What gives?
Has anyone successfully installed Cruise on a 2007 FLHX???

Sorry, I believe 77196-07 is obsolete. Harley quit making the cruise kits for 2007 and earlier bikes a while back. Guys have found them in NOS parts at some dealers though. Also, they show up on e-bay, but rarely. These are getting very hard to find!

It is obsolete. I had my HD shop do a nationwide search. they're gone.
Found a product called BreakAway Cruise Control. Similar to the what star wheel does, but far easier to engage and most importantly, disengage.
Installing it next week. I'll let you know how it works.

I had this on my Rocket III touring bike. Once you get the adjustments dialed in it works well.

The Harley cruise control is still available, just look....but the only difference between it and the new one is the plug on the wiring....just do a better search. I read tons on it, cause there is a ton of info out there. I was looking for one for my 07 FLHX....that wire mod takes just a few minutes........
