Still can't understand why HD wouldn't sell them all together? Guess that would just make too much sense.

I asked a parts Guy the same thing and he told me that the majority that purchase the tuners have the dealer install them. So, no need for cables.

The software, and cables can be used on both.... but the module that connects the 2 cables can only be used on 1 bike.

Thanks for the "heads up". May not bother buying a tuner if I can't use it on both machines.

Only way I can think of is to transfer the ecm from the old bike to the new.

New to SE pro super tuner

New to this tuning process how hard is it to tune a motorcycle and is the software user friendly?

This my understanding as well.
The "Module" that connects to the ECM is coded to only work with one bike.

Good info. Is the software available outside a dealer? From what I can tell, the cables are standard PC type cables to and from the tuner. I have the Super Tuner Pro on my 2012 Road Glide. I have the stage 2 (255) cams, adjustable pushrods, Vance and Hines 2 into 1, stage 2 air breather and a map the dealer installed when I bought the bike.

Is a dyno run really needed? Just looking for that best combination to utilize what I have.
