Where to ride (day trip) From Fort Worth Texas.
All:
Been riding around DFW. I live in Haltom City. I have ridden to Fort Worth, Grandbury, Paris, Weatherford, Gainsville, Waxahaxie, Glenrose and other places of interest.
I have lived here in the DFW area my whole life.
What I am looking for is a good/great day trip that has some scenery and is biker friendly. I would like to stay off the highway as I find it more "relaxed".
Any of you have any suggestions?

There is some great scenery out around Possum Kingdom Lake around Graham, TX. What part of FTW are you in?

East my friend anywhere out toward lake Fork, Tyler, or Jefferson...Take I-20 east and haul ass till you get to about Terrell then jump on old hwy 80 then the world is your oyster...

281 down to Marble Falls, then 71 over to Llano. Stop at Coopers BBQ. Then 16 north to 84 east until it hits 281 again to get home.

went to Coopers and went retarded....I said ya...give me some of that and some of that and some of that and some more of that....shit the bill was like 60 bucks for 2 people...ate BBQ for 3 freaking days....
