Countryboy, agree on the clipon look on those Mapstad shields. I think because they do clipon. I don't like the look either. Don't they offer any other type shields?

I don't think so man. That's why I like the look of HD or Klockwerks better

Im running a 12" KlockWerks but during the summer I run the HD shorter 9" shield. being 5'9" , for a 6'7" guy, I would look at the 15" KW first, the 12" looks killer and might be ok, but find something that has a lip flipped up like a spoiler, it will help push stuff up above u.

I vote klock werks. I've road a road glide with the shortest(forget the size) and it got the wind over my head. I'm 5'11". I was impressed with the performance of the shields small size and so far out in front and it still got the wind over my head.

Thanks for the info petew! I just hate the way the 15" looks from the saddle..its like looking through an Ultra Shield

I think need to seriously look into all the other windshield makers before settling on the hd shield. Cee Baileys, Windvest, Clearview, Bagger Shield, just to name a few. Im also from the RG specific forum and ive learned from others mistakes at 5-6 windshield tries.
