Based on looks alone it would be worth it.

I'd be assuming that you could place an older sustem on your 2009-up bike, only because I never did it. I'm not positive the head pipes are the same length, which would make a difference, despite being a little give in that department.
You'd need the simple bracket that attaches to the 2 starter bolts, and the tab that hose-clamps to the pipe to stabilize the rear cylinder pipe where it comes out of the head. The only other left side mount is the one under the bag.

Although the pipe crosses under the bike, the change really is a good one for rider comfort, especially in sto-n-go traffic. Personally, I'd keep the under-bike style exhaust, and add a cooler if necessary.

My set is on the truck should be in my hand on Monday.
Another guy at work bought a set for his RK.
Time will tell, but crap the slip-ons alone are selling for more than what I paid for the entire kit on other websites.

Arrived yesterday.
Installed today along with Fuel Moto pre-down loaded map on a Dynojet Power Vision.
Also coupled to that was a S&S air cleaner.
Also put on a police solo seat.
All day affair.
She be sounding SEXY !
In the flesh it looks a hell of a lot better than in the pics.
Actually very very nice.
I was not expecting that; thought I was going to have to live with a "WTF?" look just to cheap out.
I think the owner's six year kid old put together the instructions sheet.
The pics were worthless.

PS; these pipes come with 12 AND 18 mm bungs so you can put on a Power Vision (or etc) kit with the self adjusting feature.
Also included are threaded plugs for whichever system you dont use.
Did I mention they sound killer ?
In case I didnt;
They sound killer !
