Ultra Limited to Road King style license plate relocation
Thanks to information I found on several boards, I used the Road King directional bar to relocate my license plate.

I’ll also add that the parts from the Harley dealership totaled close to $200, and that was with me reusing my turn signal lights. By searching e-bay with the part number for the bar I got the entire assembly (brand new condition) including new lights for $49 shipped. That was a good find!

This is what the HDI models look like. A lot of us in good ol Europe would love to have it the other way around, but the license tags are too big in most countries over here.
Personally I don't like the looks of the empty US license tag mounting plate. So I added a Bar & Shield emblem. It is like always: Different strokes for different folks.

This is just step one of my winter project of making the tour pack removable. After I get the new tour pack bracket on the upper blank plate bracket will be eliminated.

I see. That is what I was thinking to do with mine. But for me it is too much of a hassle. I had a detachable Tour Pak mounted on my FLHX and I never removed the Tour Pak anyhow. For sure, it will look much better without the blank plate.

I like the license plate where it is. Traffic and toll cameras cannot see it.
