Not yet. I know they're up there. I for sure was going to check ebay for those. I know a few painters, so not worried about that.

Wow! You spent tens of thousands on a nice bike for yourself and are complaining about spending a couple hundred on your girl you want to keep happy. Crazy. Just buy the matching backrest, like I did, and she will love you for how comfortable it is. Don't comprise when it come to your girl. Save the pennies on yourself. Splurge on her.

Agreed. Prices are high. I knew this prior to getting in the HD World. Hell, one of the local dealership has a " Program " for $100.00 that gives an up to 15% discount, however, first you must spend mutiple thousand of dollars to receice that discount, Right and then your forced to do your shopping their. That statement on making the backrest out of wood was freaking funny. Loved it...

HD would stop charging as much as they do if people didn't pay the price. People pay so thy charge.
I got my 2013 Dyna SG a couple months ago, and I ponied up the price for the sissy bar PLUS the pad. You would think it would come with it as standard.....I may have searched around for something else, but it was installed by the time I picked up my bike. No charge for install.
Not sure if it's common practice at other dealers, but because I bought a new bike I get 10% off everything in the store for the life of my bike.

Pretty sure I said it elsewhere in this thread. But, if not, I'm more pissed about the item I posted a picture of not coming with the pad when their website fails to mention it. My frugality is what got me this damn bike. I'll bitch about whatever I want. A dollar is a dollar until Obama ruins it.
Question for you. If I had a $1000 or so rat bike, would you still be saying "wow" to this thread if I had posted a similar question? The cost of the bike doesn't matter. This is all hypothetical in case ya haven't picked up on it.
To me, showing a sissy bar with a pad but selling it without it and NOT mentioning this is like buying a tire with no tread(minus slicks and racing tires). See where I'm coming from here?

I totally follow you. That's why I replace my stock seat with a mustang and backrest. I would have paid mustang 1000 for their seat since they disclose everything. I refuse to give HD the money for their bait and switch program. I love my bike I just hate the B.S. that comes with it. Oil changes are another B.S. story. No excuse to charge 200 for an oil change. Ugh.......sorry. leaving this conversation now. Woooo-sawwwww woooo-sawwwww..........
