Horsepower Question

Does anyone know the horsepower of the twin cam 103cube in the 2013 Street Glide? I know it has 100lb torque rating but have seen no hp ratings....thanks.

82ft/lbs Rear wheel torque and 65 RWHP per their chart in the 2013 parts catalog page 442.

Undersquare engine; Torque will always be > HP.

Really only 65 HP? I thought a stock 88 had around 65HP.

Confuse a liberal.....use facts and logic.

Rear wheel HP.
The HP that counts.
Crank HP is what the marketing dept thinks they can get away with.

Do a header, stage1, and a tune. It will wake up a stock 103!

My motor puts out 117hp/111tq??? It is a 103 also, used a HD Stage IV "Race" Kit and prior to that my motor with a set of 255's and intake and exhaust with the dyno tune and it produced 92hp/109tq as per the above post, why then is my current setup not producing as stated, more tq, less hp with under square motors? I cannot get my iPad to post pics, but if someone wants to see it or post is, I am happy to send it with my phone or something..

I believe you pete. That set-up with the 255's and 92hp with 109 tq sounds intreguing.

Here's a dyno run on a totally stock 103 from Fuel Moto's website. The red line is the stock one. It shows 69.38 hp and 87.55 torque.

I stand corrected. There is always an exception to "always" if you look for it.
I suppose you could put in high lift long duration cams and get more HP than torque with a race kit by wringing it out at the top end.
Why you would sacrifice the bottom end to do so is beyond me.
Its a two valve long stroke Harley not a Bimota.
To each his own.
