You will run leaner (hotter) because now your breathing better . Plus you might pop on deceleration with both high flow air filter and exhaust,it will probably need to be richened up a bit.If you only install the slip ons on your bike the computer may compensate for that but it can only compensate so much. Its worth the money to have it tuned right.

You will need to add fuel.
You can do this with a remap at the dealer, or you could add one of the many aftermarket units and tuning time if you are not comfortable doing it yourself.

Thanks Guys. Went to the H-D shop this PM and asked the guy in service what remapping my bike would cost because of adding exhaust and AF. Said it would be $150 plus $15 to remap of I could go with their special deal on super tune for $640. Holy crap batman I can get my Zo6 Vette dynoed for about $550 and it's got 8 cylinders instead of two. What's the deal on this?

Go buy a Dobeck plug-in tuner. Ebay sells them for $195. Plugs in line with your Injectors and adds to the injector pulse width, with adjustments for fuel in the low, mid and top range, like jetting on a carb. Two hours tops to install if you lift the tank. One plug to injector, one plug to harness, (x2) and one ground wire to battery.

Easy-Peezy. Then YOU control it when YOU want, and it's not a dealer download that you'll be marginally happy with anyway.

Did you install it yourself? If so how long did it take you? Dave said 2 hours tops. Can an average smuck do it himself?
