Cool Front Bumper on a 2011 FLHTK

Hello,

Installation of a front bumper on a 2011 FLHTK. any one know if there is special hardware needed? There is a stud sticking down from the inside of the front fender, looks like it's coming from the back of the fender light. Any help would be great,,Thank's, Don

Front: Fender mounting bolts hold the bumper on. There's "tab washers" behind the nuts, that the tab bends up to prevent the nut from coming undone. In order to undo or to bend these correctly, the front wheel really need to come off. Trying to undo these tabs and bolts with the wheel on isn't worth the grief.

There's a 7/16" nut on the underside of the fender that a support tab mounts on, on both th front and rear fender.

Rear: On the rear, the bumber attaches from the bag rails at the bottom, and that one stud off the underside of the fender similar to the front.

Locktite on the hardware is your friend.
