In total agreement with Dave, not to worry. Particularly since it was an AMSOIL syn oil. So much better than the HD oil recommended in the manual. But I would stick with the syn 20W50 going forward, year round.

Perhaps the rep will accommodate an exchange if any significant qty left.

I only have a few quarts left so I'll just keep them for other things. Thanks again to everyone for the help and posts. I've been running the bike all week in Maryland and havent had any issues with drops since changing to the 20w50.
