V Road Foot Controls
I ride a Road Glide but have a friend looking at a VRod. Only thing about the bike is he is not 100% sure about the forward controls. Are there any kits to modify the controls to bring them back a bit? I know Harley makes a kit that brings them back an inch, but any aftermarket that may make a mid control kit?

I can't vouch for them, (never used em, or know anyone who does) I'm just providing the info.

i know some one that uses those.. they are not a true mid.. which is basically why she likes them so much ..a true mid would bring you back another 2 inches or so .. your heels are back more like . you leg is a V looking from the side.. and the kosmans make it more an L.... i LOVE my forwards.. but to each their own
if you are liking the v-rod.. are you thinking new? if not....you can always buy a used one that has mids already and you dont have to convert.. i do believe that would be the D model ..

I have a D which has the true mids...I wouldn't want the bike with anything else. I like that it gives you 2 seating positions so you can stretch out and put your feet on the highways pegs and relax, or put them on the mids for much more control on the twisty roads etc...it gives the bike more of a sport bike feel, takes the weight off your ass and puts more on your legs and feet because they are quite bent. It also gives a more leaned over position and puts more weight on your arms and shoulders. So it really depends on what type of riding you like to do and if your in good physical shape and like to go fast in the curves etc... or if you just want to sit back on yur ass like a lump on a log.
