V-Rod Muscle Handlebars

I just got my 2009 Muscle home and put some miles on it today.
I am an older rider at 59 and I am 5'9".
I like the forward controls (my heritage classic has them too) but I wish the handlebars were about 3 inches closer so I did not have to lean so far forward. It causes a stiff neck after about 30 minutes.
Anyone hear about a handlebar kit for the muscle?

I'm new here

Go easy on me, I'm new on this forum. I'm not really an ape hanger guy, I don't have the arms for it...just looking for an extra 3 inches

Might be able to rotate your bars back a bit and re-align your controls...might get a couple inches out of that.

Nope, but it should only take a few minutes to try it out and see.

pretty sure the muscle bars bolt right to the triple tree. you might get a machine shop make you a custom spacer to pull the bars back.unfortunately the bike is to new for anyone to be mfg something yet.

I believe the F uses the B riser, which means you can change just the bars pretty easy.
I have an X that comes stock w drag bars.I'm 5'7 and installed the reduced reach seat and it cured my wrist problems. To bad they don't make a decent seat for the F,it has to be one of the worst seats I've ever ridden on.
There is such a thing as reduced reach bars that will bolt on the F.Give this place a call and ask what they have.http://www.v-mod.com/shop/search.asp

The F has that funky handle bar on it. I like the look but could see how you would want it closer to you. At the angle it's mounted if you use riser spacers they will not only be a bit higher but a bit further back too.

The big pic is a little annoying but it's a good close up.

These guys have a few options as well, click here
