I guess everyone knows that there is a new cycle VRSC model coming out on 2009. I would like to know what you guys think about V-ROD Muscle.
I really am in loved with the design, it's very beautiful ride. Is it very diferent from the V-Rod VRSCAW ??

Best Regards.

It is ugly and will attract others who never liked the VRSC before. Is it very different from VRSCAW you decide.
V-Rod Muscle

VRSCAW

I enjoy its futuristic design, i think its great, i love the all the models VRSC, but at first impact the Muscle got my attention.

But i think i prefer the VRSCAW pipes, and the spot where the licence plate is, but i like the back design on V-Rod Muscle, the chasi is pretty much the same and i love that plate on the tank.

Is there tests on the v-rod Muscle performence on the road?

I like it. The Muscle has all the same parts except the pipes. I'm guessing about the same performance, KICKA$$!

Add me to the like it crowd. (Small as it may be.)
The pipes make me think that there could be a V-Rod based tourer in the works.
That would be .

I like it as well. Impressions at other forums (including non H-D) are quite positive... just what Milwaukee is hoping for.

I see alot of bikes VRSCAW with rims closed, isn't that dangerous with side winds? Doesn't make you lose control of the bike?

Thanks to the folks on this site and on 1130cc.com I was able to handle my solid wheeled '03 through terrible winds with nowhere safe to pull over. What these folks had done is provided sound advice on how to ride. I made it home, 20 miles of 37 in the stormy weather without losing control. It is something that I'd rather not do, but certainly know that it was about me whether or not it was do-able and not the wheels.

That being said, living in windy territory my '08 is easier to manage.

Rather peculiar design philosohy, IMHO, for a motorcycle.
My impression is they decided to make sections more "blocky" w/o any functional reason.

From my first exposure to the V-Rod, I never really thought of the radiator shroud as a great visual asset.
It's a functional necessity, sure, but I never really understand why they decided to emphasize it
instead of minimize it. And now.. twice as blocky.

Maybe they're trying to evoke subliminal associations and childhood memories in their target market...
