1/4 times at the dragstrip
I think we need a thread like this being that the v-rod is hd's high performance bike. So what are you running? I've got an 11 dx with a bunch of destroyer parts. On stage 1 the bike went 11.60@115mph. In its present setup bike went 10.84@125mph. So post em if you got em.

I ran my 2009 Muscle the other night, first time ever racing it, and got 12.62 @ 108.63mph, had a .42 reaction time. With a better driver i feel it would be in the high 10's.

It takes a lot of motor work to shave off 1.6 seconds in the 1/4 mile.

It should run 11s with some practice. I run high 10s with a bunch of mods and a good launch.

Yes I know, but with a .42 reaction time, and first time ever racing it, I feel with a good rider high 10's shouldn't be out of question. Not saying I can, but I have no problem believing the bike can. With a couple of runs even I could get it in the high 11's no problem.

a stock vrod with a tuner, performance air filter and performance exhaust is not gonna run 10 anything without a gearing change and that'll mean going to a chain. a .4 reaction time means you sat there for 4 tents of a second before you moved and activated the timing.experienced drag racers have .05 and .00 reaction times and not all the time either, sometimes the pro's get caught sleeping at the tree. a 12.62 is a good run for the fist time and don't get me wrong, with a little practice mid 11's are very possible i can guarantee you that.
