Dumb question from Dyna rider...

I see people stretched out with the FWD controls on the V's, and when I sat on one I wasn't a fan of the low bars and FWD controls but I like the bike itself.

Question is, are there mid control kids you can get for V-Rods? Yes or no is fine.

I had a night rod special and loved the riding position for the most part. You sit there kind of slouched and I thought it felt comfortable.... at first. Unfortunately, I have 3 bad vertebrae in my neck and the slight tilt looking up bothered me on longer rides. And anything over 60mph and you really catch the wind. Lots of guys put taller bars on them, too.

Yeah, D models (Night Rod..not Special) come with mid controls. I don't get face flappage until over 100 mph. On my Vstar, I would get it at 80 mph. 80mph on the Vrod is comfortable to me.

I put bars with no rise but more pullback on mine. I like the riding position, and can change my weight distribution around during longer rides.

I don't understand how Big Worm can ride with mid controls being all hunched up, as tall as he is.

D's (niterod) comes with hwy pegs out where you forward controls are.
i have a forward shift on the bike, and never use the rear brake unless in a "situation". then i like my legs under me tight up aginst the frame. i get all tucked in just for racing, which is the main reason i bought the bike, so the mids come into play there, but noon the less i still look like an elephant fockin' a football on the bike, i look big on everything. you should have seen me on my '05 883 and the ZX-7
