Spoke numbers

Got a quick question. I am in need of replacing my front rim on my 2k Wide Glide. I was considering just buying a complete wheel from Paughco that is an 80 spoke model. Has anyone switched to a higher number of spokes from the stock 40, and was there any noticeable difference in stability or maintenance?

Just wondering.
