Was the OP talking about spoke rims or mags, it makes a difference ! Mags will always have stick on weights from the factory.
Crimp on weights are becoming dinosaurs.
Also available are fancy stick on weights, like Harley emblems, sculls, American flags etc.

Chuck the weights and go to Dynabeads...work great. Dyna Beads for Motorcycle Riders and Dealers

I agree,, ran some on my sportster.. awesome and re-usable when you replace tire

All i have to say is rip the weights off and use some dyna beads. Worked for me 25k mile and no issues with balance.

Not sure, but, I heard that tire manufacturers will NOT warranty their tires if "Dyna beads" were used in them.

I realize that by the time them beads break down the inner tire, It'll probably be time to replace them anyhow..?

Hey craiger - that is an interesting comment re: warranty ... I didn't think about it ... after I found the damage to my chrome under the stick ons - that was it ... Dynabeads until I have hard evidence to the contrary. Hope to put enough kms on each year that I will be going through tires fast anyway!

Can't hear 'em, work amazing, don't know their there . . . can't ask for more to support a look you are proud of! Certainly time will tell and I will be one to report back either way!!

I'd like to see the contortions some poor S.O.B. would have to go through to see my stick on wheel weights at 30 MPH let alone 70.
