Fuel Pak

I've got a '10 Dyna that I've installed V&H Pro Pipe 2 into 1 and a new breather. to tie it all together I used the V&H Fuel Pak.
My nephew has a '10 Street Glide with Rush duals, a SE breather and shop tuned. I'm told our bikes have pretty much the same engine but off the line his bike walks away from mine.
I'll assume it's the Fuel Pak vs shop tuned issue, because other than the above installs we haven't touched the engines (yet).
Is anyone familiar with the Fuel Pak who can help me out?
Thanks
