Comp Cams 850-4 lifters?

I have had two local places recommend Comp cams lifters 850-4 saying they are good and American made.

Are they a good lifter? Compared to other aftermarket lifters like S&S?

I'm running them on my front cylinder. One original one was bad and this was the easy way - just changed both. They work well. My brother was running them too.

Have used them in the past they seem fine. Probably wouldn’t run them with aggressive cams

I have about 20,000 miles on Comp 850 lifters on top of Andrews 48 cams (.548" lift).

I ride like an old guy that wants to get older.

I had someone point me to this video but interesting thing is he mentioned not only automotive lifters but harley lifters as well.
Arr the harley lifters in fact automotive lifters?

What would make a lifter "auto" or "motorcycle"? They are just lifters!!

Chevy small block lifters are the same

Well according to the S&S video it mentioned flow rates being higher on a motorcycle lifter. Also, would the bleed down requirement for a motorcycle be different? Slower? Faster?
That is why I posted the video to get others opinions on what was mentioned .

Sales pitch. Comp cams 850's work just fine, but if you like to spend money, go for S&S.
