1973 FLH Exhaust System

IS there a range of years of exhaust systems that will work on the 1973 Electra Glide FLH? Right now I have no exhaust or muffler system for this bike.

Look in almost any catalog and you should find a range of model years.

Now, are you looking for stock or aftermarket?

Last year for the Shovel was 83. But that was the 80" not the 74".
As well as being in the FX frame.
I think the Evo replaced the Shovel in FL frames in 82.
Not sure about frame changes, if any, or in what years.

Exhaust System Suggestions

I'm getting ready to buy an exhaust system for my basket case 1973 FLH. Any suggestions before I take the plunge?

yeah... Guess I'm thinking dual exhaust would look the best. The setups are really pricey thought $500 and up without mufflers. Wondering about same side exhaust... with heat shields etc.

Nothing on a Harley is inexpensive ... But, there is a lot of cheap stuff out there.

Buy once ... Cry once
