Ive sold 2 Bikes on Craigslist, one was $20,000+. NADA bases prices by area, it's also what Insurance Companies use to Value yourBike if yiu Total it. NADA Retail is what you would expect to pay at a Dealer. I've found KBB to have higher than normal prices.

I have sold a ton of bikes on eBay and Craigslist. Sometimes trading them in is a better option with a high mileage bike. My wife traded a 2010 Heritage Classic in October of 2012 with 45,000 miles on it. They gave her $12,500 which seemed low but we took it. It was listed lastly at the dealer this summer for $8900. It may have finally sold at a huge loss for them. I don't think unless we sold it cheap it would have sold. Also keep in mind that most states count a trade in towards sales tax. Just my two cents.

Bunch of bikes all sold
Who knows what is next!

I use KBB to give me an idea - depends how badly you want it gone. I’ve posted my Nightrod on eBay, Craigslist, cycle trader, etc. The more places you post it the better.
