FWIW. Used to have a full beard. Now just a gotee.
Why? Because I like it.

Wanna try something else?

Dont be offended by my comment the point i make is we all do things for different reasons. .. even for the look.

Secondly I would of though this forum would be a safe place to share, talk about and ask questions about your bike, I thought you would be free from any vilification for posting some pics of your bike...

Thirdly the question i asked was a genuine question I dont know wether to put on beach bars given the cost ... but based on the paint and general lines of the bike I was looking for "intelligent" feed back.

Fourthly to those who state im casual YOUR WRONG .. I dont own a car..this is my own transport ... I ride it every day, i am retired due to disability and this bike is my passion an joy... i am 55 and have ridden sice i was 12 ..this is my 4th harley. .i am a mechanic by trade most of the work has been done by myself. ...as i said pay me out all you want i just love bikes like you..

And of course i care about performance. .the reason i said i didn't want to focus the question on performance was because i was interested in thoughts from a "look" perspective. ... i didnt want a thousand people telling me what they like based on what they ride. Because 90% of the time people will just say what their riding is the best...

Apologize.

True. Many here ask what someone thinks what will look good/better.

I have never seen anyone make this statement.

You want me to apologize?

How bout this, go shiz in your hat and pull it over your ears.

You delete your original post to make you look less like a total tool and want me to make nice?

A real man would stand behind what he said/ typed.

Best of luck on whatever you decide...

To everyone their own! The bike looks good the way it is. As far as apologies, hey! We don't. Hard to follow a thread that is not complete. Brother biker, let it go and enjoy the ride. We say things at times that get people brewing and the pot melting. Just hang on, it gets better.

I don't think any apologies are needed when somebody expresses how they really feel about an issue. And certainly, no apology is valid if it is demanded. If you thought about it, and you meant what you said, then any apology would be hollow. I would just hope that when the comment is made about somebody's character, it would come after a little forethought and consideration of the effects of that type of comment -- unless it's made in jest, "ball-busting," as it were. Lord knows, I'm very familiar with that, and I've loved every minute of it over the years I've been here.

As fas as the difference between "poser" and "biker", that horse has been beat to death ad nauseum in multiple threads, and there are as many opinions about which is what as there are members here and beyond. To me, both terms can be considered labels, and as such, supposedly nobody here would care to have one them applied to them if the intent was derogatory, even though most would profess not to give a damn about it. I was just a bit surprised to see it go so far so quickly, and directed at a relative newcomer to this forum.

I've seen some moderators take more offense at less, and then choose to use their "power" with the result being the banishment of a member who happened to chance upon a section of thin skin.
