HD Noob and Unashamed Polisher...

Hello HD forum members!

I own an Ultra Classic that I love to polish and almost never ride unless the weather is perfect and traffic is light. This is my 12th motorcycle, but first HD, so I thought I'd better join a forum and start reading threads--so much to learn!
This pre-owned bike was in fantastic shape, with low miles, but since my hobby is detailing, I saw plenty of room for improvement. Last weekend, I did a full wash, claybar, polish and ceramic coat, which really perked up the fine custom paint--very good depth of finish. I've just begun learning how to use the various options, like cruise control and the sound system, but from the few short rides I've already taken, I can tell this machine will be in my garage for a long time. Thanks in advance for your sage wisdom!

--Cheers

Welcome from GA! I get the need to shine it up ( and that is awesome paint) but if you only ride when its perfect you won't ride much AND you won't have anything to clean!

Blessed beyond measure.

Thanks for the kind words! I guess my first question, if it's OK to ask it here, would be a simple identification. The manual that came with the bike covers multiple "Touring Models." I'm pretty sure this is the Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCU. In the shot I posted, I have the seat off for cleaning the wiring harness and battery compartment, but can anyone zoom in and confirm the model? Thanks!

BTW: Forgive my utter lack of knowledge, but here are a couple of shots of my previous bike to give you some idea of what I'm used to. As much as I loved my Kwaks, I'm so glad I switched to a cruiser before something horrible happened to me and / or my license!

Thanks again!

Is it Motor Company Manual for the year of bike? If so should be ok. Your garage is too neat.
