I just picked up a Sportster 1200 (2019). Im waiting on my TBR 2 to 1 pipes to arrive. Do i need to do any type of tuning or add-ons when i put the pipes on? Air Intake, FP#, etc? TIA for all your answers!!

Hello,

I just got a 2019 Sportster 1200. I'm waiting in my TBR Pipes (2 to 1) to arrive. When i get my pipes, is there anything type of tuning or add-ons i need (FP3, Air Intake, ETC)? Or can I run in with just the pipes for now?

You're good with a stock air cleaner in place.

Dyno tuning is not some deep dark secret, that is only able to performed by someone that Dorothy and Toto once knew, or by some 100 year old Tibetian monk.
Straightforward process, and worth doing, as there is right, then there is everything else.

Im hearing lots of good stuff on technoresearch also, But if you want it right get it dyno tuned also. A good tune takes the guess work out of your bike a canned map was good for someone not necessarly your. If close counts is good enough then the canned map will do.
