revive meet up at nod, midwest meet up?

i've been thinking this for a while and just wanted to through it out there and see what you fellas think. the collision is about to move further west. i suspect it is moving toward a get to together for the godfathers during their spring vacation ride and that's ok. moving further west is a problem for me, dedwood is a little too far for a weekend ride. i and some of the others have mentioned missing the eureka springs venue. it's a great place for an early season get together. they have really great riding all through arkansas. how about we have a get together there first weekend in june every year. they would love to have us. no harley only rule, or no trailering rule. no organized anything unless by the riders there at the time. four or fourty it would be nice to see some of the old friends we have made during collision and an oportunity to make some more. would give us something to talk about those winter evenings sitting by the fire as well as to look fwd to during our winter slow down on trips time. what think you guys? i think we should do it! grin

Since I now have a touring bike, I'm in if it fits my work schedule.

I've tried to make these togethers twice before. First time I had to cancel due to work. Cancelled the second time for a hurricane.

Maybe 3rd time's a charm?

The only time I've gotten to meet folks is when they're local or come through the area.

Sent from here to there.

Like Alan, it always depends on my work schedule, but I would definitely be interested.

thanks for feed back alan and southerman. i already know of four that will be there for sure. it's etched in stone. the first weekend in june, friday, saturday, sunday, come early or stay late some of us will, each and every year. at the land of nod motel, eureka springs ar. if a change of venue is voted on by members and agreed to then we will do it democraticlly. i and at least three others are already looking forward to it. we already have two maybes, definitely guys i look forward to meeting by reading their posts. there will be much said before then, especially this winter when we are looking forward to our first non day trip outing of 2020 season. mid america collision is a real thing, next june at the nod. we can't wait to eat well and enjoy those arkansas twisties. and enjoy some motorsickle comraderie and fellowship. again no rules, respectful and courteous behavior is sop in middle america, bring whatever you ride, ride or trailer if unable to ride to event. tommy

eureka springs is a meat and potato town, breakfast at the filling station usually involves a pound of bacon! supper at least one day is catfish and the best hushpuppies i have ever eaten. and of course pie is everywhere in arkansas. i was thinking it would be a good ride for the road glide that is probably going to be in your future brian.

Sounds like a good 55th birthday present to myself.
