94 softail clutch cable adjust

I just replaced my transmission sprocket on my 94 heritage and when I went to take up the slack in my clutch cable I ran out of threads. I set the clutch up as per the manual and I have had the clutch out a few times for previous repairs and have never had a problem. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Start the adjustment from scratch. When the rod is properly adjusted the cable adjustment will be within the proper range.

Yep. Do it as per the manual.

As it is right now, the screw/rod at the clutch hub isn't in far enough.

Thanks for the help guys. I ended up taking the transmission side cover off and sure enough the rack and ball were stuck so I freed it up and yada yada yada
we're back on the road.
