2010 roadking

Got a used king from a cycle shop. They added apes and new grips. Have rode the bike 600 miles with no problems now the bike loses power and drops down to 30mph with no throttle response and gas light comes on. Wondering if it’s a wire pinched in the bars and grounding out or something completely different.

Perfect advice.
No need to have others speculate.

Check for codes. There is a sticky over in the technical section if you dont know how to do that.

I would like to help but can't stand someone who comes to this forum with questions without an introduction. More info about your self. Are you describing limp mode? Location is good, there could be a local shop that might help.

Introduction? You can’t stand someone that comes to your forum without sharing about myself. Why do you need to know about my personal info? What the heck does that have to do with my bike? I just signed up this evening and I ask one question and I get smart ass replies and a ******* wanting to know about me first before helping me out. Great forum, I didn’t realize this was high school Facebook drama. Thanks anyway. Stay classy and keep up the good work

We could give a flying phuck about your personal info. Just introduce yourself and your phucking bike.

It's kind of like barging into someone's house and talking shyt.

Limp mode. TBW connector in the right grip probably came apart, they're fragile little buggers !
